Last friday was the first time i’ve been to a murder mystery dinner. It was so much fun… the cast, production, and dinner were all amazing! i will definitely go to one again. it was a musical comedy (great songs!) and the theme was fairy tale, titled “Happily Never After.” Company was Musical Mysteries, they put on shows in the pittsburgh area.

Go to Comic Con! It has always been a dream of mine…and after seeing pictures/tweets/videos from Comic Con 2012 this past weekend, I want so badly to go! So many of my favorites shows and actors were there. Hopeful for next year…

A road trip across the USA…like across the whole country through many states. I’ve driven to Florida and Tennessee many times, but those were for vacations or a destination. I just want to go someday…without a plan. I want to enjoy the journey. Preferably with Orlando Bloom- Elizabethtown style.

So I haven’t posted in a veryyy long time! But since my last update, I have done some pretty awesome things. Started the year off strong with winning concert tickets/meet & greet passes for Kelly Clarkson! Yep…the American Idol Kelly Clarkson! It was amazing and something I never dreamed would happen. That’s the picture of me, KClarkson and my sister. One of the coolest experiences ever.
more posts coming soon.

I forgot to add this one over the summer. I crossed off a ‘what i never did’ in July. I visited Wilmington, NC (aka Tree Hill) and a few of the key landmarks from the show One Tree Hill. To put it simply..it was a dream come true. Most TV shows are just stories and fictional characters that come and go without leaving much behind. One Tree Hill is not most shows. The past 8 seasons of OTH has changed my life in so many ways…the way I view the world, live my life, choose music, and look to the future. I have grown with this show…I was only 16 when it started. Since OTH began I have experienced graduating high school, leaving for college, a best friend’s death, graduating college, entering the ‘real world’ with a new job, moving a few times along the way, and even buying a condo. The show has had its changes too, but it has always been there. One Tree Hill is home. That is the only way I know how to describe it.
And finally on July 26, 2011, I visited Wilmington where the show is filmed. I went to a few of the filming locations and one of them was where the show started…the river court! It brought everything full circle for me with the show ending after this season. Here’s a pic from the river court! And it’s the new banner for this blog…

…experienced a earthquake. Well, kind of. I could feel the one that hit Virginia a few week ago while I was at work in Pittsburgh. I didn’t know what was happening at first, I felt dizzy and like I might faint. Then I looked at my hand and my desk and realized things were moving. Everyone around my office starting standing up and looking around like “what just happened?” and “did you feel that?”
It was a surreal experience. I know everyone from California and other areas of the country think the east coasters were overreacting…but not really. We don’t have those everyday, so it was kind of a big deal.
